CHEMICAL PEELS EXPLAINED

What is a chemical peel?

A chemical peel is a professional exfoliation treatment that removes dead skin cells, unclogs pores and stimulates collagen production. This process helps improve skin texture, reduce breakouts and fade dark spots. Ultimately, leaving your skin, smoother and more radiant.

Benefits of Chemical Peels

  • Clears Acne & Prevents Breakouts
  • Fades Hyperpigmentation & Acne Marks
  • Smooths Texture & Fine Lines
  • Boosts Radiance & Hydration
  • Stimulates Collagen Production

Types of Chemical Peels Offered

Mild Peels - Great for beginners, minimal downtime, gentle exfoliation with flaking

Medium Peels - Targets acne scars, pigmentation, fines lines with mild to moderate peeling

What to Expect

All chemical peels are only done on established clients so if you are looking to go on a skin journey with chemical peels, please go visit the New Clients page.

  • Otherwise, after necessary paperwork, skin will be prepped and the peel solution will be applied. You'll feel tingling and warmth, or mild stinging.
  • The peel will be followed with LED light therapy.
  • Treatment lasts about 34-45 minutes.
  • Post peel skin will have redness, and flaking to mild peeling may occur.

Post Care

To maximize the results and protect your skin post peel your must:

  • Keep skin hydrated by drinking lots of water and using gentle moisturizer
  • Avoid sun exposure, and always wear SPF.
  • Do not pick skin or peel.
  • Avoid gym, sauna and makeup for 12 hours.
  • Avoid excessive sweating, hot showers and exfoliants until skin is healed.
  • PLAN ACCORDINGLY

It's crucial to plan accordingly for your chemical peels to ensure best results. Never book a new treatment right before a big event, no gym after, and be sure to stop active skincare prior to your appointment.

  • AFTER CARE

Following after care is also EXTREMELY important. All treatments will come with after care instructions. Most treatments will have minimal downtime, but this can vary client by client.

  • SERIES

Most likely you'll need to commit to a series or package of routine peels, and it's not guaranteed how many we'll need. But a good rule of thumb is at least 4, possibly more depending on how deep pigmenation or aging is.
